Summary of Work

This project consists of remove and disposal of all shingles, fasteners, underlayment, ridge vents, rain diverters, and flashing of existing roof as per SOW, and spec in accordance with Federal, State, and local regulations. Installation of a synthetic underlayment for metal roofs. The underlayment will comply with ASTMD 226, Type 1 or ASTM 4869 per Virginia’s Engineering and Building codes, and fasten of underlayment with staples. And replacing of all shingles with twenty-four (24) gauge metal roof panels.

Followings were the key deliverables of the project:

Removal and disposal of existing roof including all shingles, fasteners, underlayment, ridge vents, rain diverters, and flashings.
Inspection of Roof system prior to installing the underlayment for any damages or deficiencies.
Repairing of roof deck in accordance to inspection findings.
Installation of synthetic underlayment to comply with ASTMD 226, Type 1 or ASTM 4869 per Virginia’s Engineering and Building codes.
Installation of roof panel plumb, level and straight.
Roof accessories; installation of all required eave trim, valley trim, rake trim, vent pipe boots, hip caps, snow guards, and ridge caps.
