Roof Repair at Bluestone Dam

Global Gate provided all equipment and labor to necessary to properly remove/dispose of current roof coating and underlayment, prepare concrete roof surface for replacement and install new Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) roofing system with proper grade and drainage to existing drain on roof.

Global Gate seep, render clean, and filled the existing cracks with pourable crack seal, to prepare roof decking to ensure proper grade and drainage and conform with the manufacturers recommendations for EPDM roofing system installation.

Rubber roofing material is Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) type single ply roof membrane of minimum .090 mil thickness. Minimum one‐half inch thick insulation board installed over the concrete to provide proper base sheeting for new roof. Base sheeting is secured to the concrete by hot asphalt mopping method and the type of base sheeting used must be compatible with this application method. Install base sheeting with long joints in a continuous straight line and end joints staggered. All the components and equipment are high quality, free from defects and imperfections, of recent manufacture, new, and suitable for the intended use. All material conforms to ASTMD4637/D4637M‐10 Standard Specification for EPDM Single Ply Roof Membrane.
